What are Learning Pods?
Learning Pods are small, mixed-grade academic groups (max 10 students) led by Florida-certified teachers. These pods provide essential homeschool academic services where students rotate through hands-on learning, collaborate with peers, and receive individualized support tailored to their needs.
When are Learning Pod Classes?
Monday - Thursday | 8:30 - 11:30am | Public school holidays are observed
Grades Included?
Grades 1 – 5
Are there any other fees?
There is an Annual Renaissance Access fee of $100 per student, which grants you access to valuable learning tools for kids throughout the calendar school year:
• Star Reading & Star Math with progress monitoring *Meets Step Up PEP end of year assessment requirement!
• Lalilo (math and literacy practice)
• Freckle (ELA & math practice)
Rules:
Blocks expire 45 days after purchase.
48-hour reservations are required.
No same-day bookings without approval.
No refunds for unused blocks.
Registration forms must be completed before scheduling.
Space is limited to 10 students per session.
How do I Sign Up?
Follow the 4 steps below:

If you are Private Pay:
1. Complete the registration forms below.
2. Pay for Renaissance.
3. Purchase a Learning Package.
4. Book your Reservation!
If you are a Step Up Recipient:
Log into your account https://www.stepupforstudents.org/scholarships/logins/
Click on Marketplace in your left-hand panel, then select Find Providers.
Select Student: Use the drop-down menu to select the specific student receiving the service.
Filter Search: “Starchanger”.
Choose Location: 100 S. 2nd St. Suite 201.
Add Services (Renaissance Access and Learning Package).
Please indicate the name and grade of the student in the comments.
Service orders are complete; what happens next?
We will receive an email with your service orders.
Complete your registration paperwork.
When we receive your registration, we will email a coupon code to enter for 100% payment.
